MAHI MAHI CITRUS CEVICHE RECIPE
This is a Super Simple Summary Delicious recipe, perfect for dinner party impressing. The marinade for this ceviche makes a great cocktail/mocktail summer cooler on the rocks. If your keen, double up on all ingredients minus the fish | Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
☼ 2 Grapefruits
☼ 1 Lime
☼ Flaked Sea salt to taste
☼ 400-500g of skinned MAHI MAHI or other sustainably caught wild white sashimi grade fish fillet
☼1-2 Jalapeños
METHOD:
1) Squeeze the juice of the lime and grapefruits into a bowl.
2) Cut fish as evenly fine as you can with a very sharp knife, preferably a Japanese one and add to the bowl of citrus. Salt liberally and add extremely fine cut jalapeños— the amount depends on how spicy you want it.
3) wait approx 10mins until the fish has turned white and essentially cooked in the juices of the acid. Adjust by adding more salt if need. Lay on a platter of choice, serve immediately or refrigerate if eating later.
Pair with your cocktail/mocktail concoction by adding sparkling water and tequila if making alcoholic
Serve as a summary entree and Enjoy!
